France and Scotland look to bounce-back
For Scotland the role of Strokosch and openside John Barclay will be vital, as their command of the breakdown must deny the French the quick ball that allowed Wales to pull clear at Murrayfield.
While a great deal of the blame has been placed at the feet of Chabal, as the Sale icon only hit 14 rucks during the entire game, there must be more unity in the French effort against Scotland.
With skipper Lionel Nallet already under pressure, the selection of the more reliable Millo-Chluski alongside him should help relieve some of the workload, allowing him to concentrate more on his role as the side's leader.
With their eight shorn of two of its most important cogs, and Hines' 6ft 7in, 247lb frame, the Scots will ideally want to steer clear of engaging the French at the set-piece meaning that they must be precise at the breakdown in order to avoid playing into the hands of the French backs.

Bloc slams Sarkozy's 'crass ignorance' of Quebec
Duceppe seriously. At one time his statements actually had a negative affect of the stock market, now there is barely a ripple.Perhaps we all should look more carefully at Duceppe's direct threats. This is the first time a Canadian politician of note has directly insulted the head of a foreign state.True, that Sarkozy will shrug at Duceppes' comments, and that likely will cause Duceppe to react further , so we Google on to see the connection between Duceppe and the FLQ.Here in Mexico we see angry reactions to stability caused by special interest groups, who wish to revert to profitable corruption, this according to El Noreste, on a daily basis.
In other news, a Bloc MP is in hot watter over what he thinks about Israel/ Palestine, accusing Israel of war crimes and 'glorifying violence against it' (today's Globe and Mail)Remind me, has the Bloc maintained a policy of no indifference/ no interference on Israel'Hardly. The Bloc and the PQ have never, ever hestitated to shoot off their collective mouth on what other governments should do, about who's right and who's wrong, who's good and who's evil. They do it on Israel, the USA, Iraq, Tibet/ China and every other hot-button issue they can get their hands on.And now they're all in a huff because the President of the French Republic DARED to voice an opinion on the Canadian National Unity question'I can't make up my mind whether the Bloc's rabid hypocricy is frightening or embarassingly comical.Either way, its high time we stopped taking them seriously.
It's called the clarity act. It's been tried several times and everyone knows exactly what I'm saying is true but because the systemically flawed political system of conflict of interest works for the two principals they don't want it to change. What do you think Meech Lake and Charlottetown accords were about'As for NL continually complaining maybe just maybe it is because we have reason to complain and the majority just doesn't listen because it doesn't affect them.Just take the seal hunt as an example do you really think the majority of canadians support the seal hunt or for that matter even understand it or anything to do with the fishery.
I doubt the majority of canadians have ever even seen the ocean seeing as the majority of the population lives in the interior. As for a solution Equality for all of the members of the federation is the only solution because anything less would only address the symptoms when the real root cause of the woes of NL or for that matter any of the minority provinces in this phoney federation is their lack of equality with the majority provinces and that has led to the Tyranny of the majority by all of the national PROXY governing parties and opposition PROXY parties.EQUALITY OR EXIT!
